Do Those Shiny New Earrings

Make You Feel Radiant?

I bought these earrings about eight years ago at one of the Union Square Holiday fairs in New York City. Actually, the salesgirl was wearing them and I thought they looked fantastic.
They make me happy. They make me feel fabulous. I don’t know, even if I don’t bother with makeup, I just feel instantly better.
I always tell people when they’re buying jewelry: If a piece doesn’t make you feel amazing and fabulous, if it doesn't make you feel like your best self, then you shouldn’t get it.
Is jewelry important to me? Hell yes! It’s such an easy way to express yourself and to feel beautiful and, I don’t know, without sounding like a cheeseball, to feel radiant really.

Ruthie Adler, a graphic designer from New York City (Chelsea), had been working for less than eight months at the KT Collection Jewelry Store at 73rd and Columbus on New York's Upper West Side when Bijoux Bios' Jaye Ann Terry interviewed her. She was wearing  medium gold-fill Sneaky Sexy Hoops from the store. Here’s Adler's description of the earrings posted on the store's website: "They're surprisingly light weight, and a flattering teardrop shape. They're a bold, glamorous size, but it's made of such a sleek, slim square wire hoop that they're still subtle enough to wear every day (which is good, because I do).”
